The Lebanese National Network - SciLeb team has created the SciLeb Junior Members section in order to provide continuous connection and mentorship to the brilliant students who excel while participating in the different administered educational activities.
The Leadership Camps :
The Leadership Camps are mentoring events designed to help a selection of high school students in Lebanon discover and develop their leadership capacities through multiple integrated activities. The set of chosen students includes finalists from SciLeb national activities. Those students hold the rank of SciLeb Junior members, and are envisioned as potential future leaders in many domains.
This project is mainly customized to help our youth discover and develop their hidden specific leadership talents, step out of the crowds, and face many aspects of social challenges for a better future.
The camps are usually coordinated by a group of specialists and leaders, who strive to help educate those students on high values such as integrity, ethical thinking, good communication skills, team work, as well as developing their creative capacities in many specific disciplines. The interaction between the students and their mentors is intended to last beyond the camp lifetime.
The full SciLeb team in charge of coordinating and administering the event will consist of scientists, business managers, engineers and technical team chiefs, public administrators, psychologists, medical doctors, experts in the sports fields, teachers and social assistants.
Furthermore, much of the camp archives are shared with other organizations and groups involved in leadership development.
